The benefits of mentoring are well documented and extremely powerful.  These benefits accrue not only to the mentee, but also to the mentor.

According to Mass Mentoring, the benefits to youth include:

  • Mentees are 55% less likely to skip a day of school.

  • Mentees are 78% more likely to volunteer to help others themselves.

  • Mentees are 130% more likely to hold leadership positions later in life.

One adult can change the trajectory of a young person's life. When a young person realizes that someone cares, incredible things always happen.

We ask our community to join us in this work.  Our goal is to facilitate and align mentors with youth at all levels. Proper safeguards and training are essential and included. It can be a very rewarding experience.
