Our Internship Program has Two Tracks
Our External Track
Our External track allows students to learn about possible careers by working with local employers where they sample career opportunities. It is a major component of our FUTURES program.
Our Internal Track
Our Internal track offers high school students the opportunity to volunteer within city schools helping peers, either of their same age or younger. These student volunteers want to give back and consider it a satisfying community service. They typically tutor or mentor peers within our city after school.
We actively work with all local high schools and colleges in the area to coordinate and host interested students who want to help others. We train and place them in our city schools. We give them the choice of school and subject. We welcome them to join our team.
